The Unapologetic Me(n) Project was founded in 2024 by Jesse Carrion. After a lifetime of struggles with mental health, sexuality, self confidence, trauma, sexual abuse, and addiction issues, Jesse felt the need to reach out and lift those who have shared similar struggles, with an emphasis on Men's Mental Health issues.
The project itself is to have everyone, individually and collectively be "Unapologetically Me(n)". This parenthetical (n) arises out of my own personal need to connect with other men and have an open conversation without judgment to work through all the circumstances life throws one's way. Together as a community we can combine resources to lead our best lives and live unapologetically against the standards society has put upon us and what it means to be a "man".
In short the mission is to have a safe and judgement free space and forum for men to connect, share, obtain resources for coping and healing from life's various stressors. Think of it as "the poor mans rehab".
